RoH History By Kalypse Part 3

Well its been a long time since I have written the last part of the history. I will attempt to continue where I left off. When last I wrote, SiR was about to go to hell. The SiR clan had just had a clan match that we won and I was enjoying my second day as leader. I was just surfing the net when I recieved some information around 11 or 12 that night. Bitchass contacted me with some messages from Havok that he was quitting the clan. Whether I said this before or not, I was contacting everyone to see who could play regularly in Turok 2. WaveX, Ofrg, Slowmotion, and Damage_Inc told me they couldnt play as often as I wanted and left for other games. I even asked Vertigo if he would play with the clan again, but he said he didn't know and was going on his own for a little while. Damage_Inc also messaged me asking for the SiR name, and I never had really cared for changing names anyway so I gave it to him. So back to where I was, Bitchass told me Havok was quitting so I was faced with a major setback because Havok was a great player at the time. I never got any messages from Havok saying he was leaving(which is in the rules..message the leader if you are leaving...at this time the rules were a little more meaningful then they are now). I even messaged him, asking if he was leaving without getting a response. These messages turned into a chat where I talked to many of my fellow clan members. Eventually, I got the feeling that the SiR name was much more liked than I had first thought and they didn't like the idea of giving it up. So Damage_Inc came online later and the guys wanted to talk to him. This was a mistake as they had gotten riled up with all the chat. So after asking Damage_Inc why he wanted the name, it turned into a slugfest. Lots of words were said. This prompted a split in the clan. After this conversation the RoH clan was reborn under my leadership. The SiR clan was lead by Damage_Inc. The ironic part of the whole situation is that while our clans seemed to like to fight, Damage and I were good friends. On The SiR side was Damage_Inc, Vertigo, Scorpian, and Aftermath. On the RoH side was me(Kalypse), Bitchass, Scarab, The Man, Pit Viper, HHH, Frasse, Beavis, and pSiLoCyBin. I also brought HaDeS back into RoH. And I brought in a new member, Dirty Harry. Ash had problems with his isp and was out of the clan until he could get his isp fixed(I say that he would come back, but he has never responded to me that he got the problems fixed to this day). Rookie left both clans because there was too much tension between us. So the fued began. SiR played a match against us that would go down in extreme controversy about who won. If not for some connection problems, RoH would have come out on top. That was the last match we would play though. It sparked words between guys on both sides and things were bad. By this time we were into mid October. I added Pam formerly of the AC clan and Ice Killa to strengthen the clan overall. Things slowly cooled down with SiR and we went into a quiet period. Nothing really happened for several weeks. Then I went back to more work with the clan. In November I got Rookie to rejoin the clan and things were going ok. The SiR clan broke up in early November and thus that last thing that we had been fighting was gone. With the breakup of SiR, I was able to get Aftermath to rejoin us and was working on trying to get Scorpian and Damage_Inc to rejoin. I was also realizing boredom within the clan and with Turok slowly going down the tubes, I tried to move the clan to Tribes, but abadoned it when there was little support. Infact there came a few weeks where it seemed like no-one was around. And I lost confidence in the clan with the few members that were around. I seemed to be getting more complaining than anything else. At the end of November, I was going to disband the clan because of lack of participation from members. At this point HaDeS stepped up and took over leadership. Two members left at this time as well. Ice Killa left because there wasn't too much happening and Pam was kick out for hacking. In December things simmered down even more. Scorpian rejoined in December and I met up with Grul again. HaDeS convinced Grul to join RoH. At the same time Pit Viper quit RoH and joined the NL clan. Things remain rather boring until early January of 2000. We added many members in early January and we at a total of 20 by the middle of the month. Celtic Shadow joined us as a new member. Jojo from the FTW clan also joined us and took the name Chaotic. After that Damage_Inc finally got back online and rejoined RoH under the new name of Punisher. Butcher from the NL clan joined us under the new name Slain and a new player called Dude joined us. We were not without our losses though as Frasse and Bitchass both left RoH in early January. So that brings things up to present times. Im sure there are some small things that i missed along the way, but for the most part this is everything i can think of. End of RoH History Part 3.
