Screen Shot Info

FIRST OF ALL, I do not recommend making screenshots. If you won a match, be happy. If you want to prove you're good, fight someone. Screenshots can always be faked.

How to make screenshots in Turok 2 using the built-in screengrab.
*******************

Forget about the printscreen method, you can't make multiple screenshots using that method.

Before you can make the screenshots, you need to do the following things:
1. Goto the console pressing the tilde ([~], located under [ESC] and above to [TAB]).
2. Input "SET F12SCREENGRAB 1". This will activate the grabber.

Now, press [F12] to make screenshots, multiple :), till your harddisk is full.

The screenshots will be saved in \Turok2\PICS. The file format is .ppm (PORTABLE PIXELMAP). You can use PAINT SHOP PRO to open and edit the files. For the people without a program that supports PPM or who don't have Paint Shop Pro, I also described the printscreen method.

Printscreen method ("Classic" way)
*******************

This way of making screenshots is pretty simple. The requirements are a keyboard with the [PRINTSCREEN] button (located next to scroll lock and [F12]), and a simple image editor like Microsoft PAINT, automatically installed with Windows.

OK. While playing a game, press Printscreen to make a shot. Be careful with this, Windows will save the current screen to the memory, but if you press it again, it will overwrite the last shot.

Close T2 or switch using ALT-TAB (Not supported by some videocards, Turok will hang). Open paint or whatever program you want to use. Paste the shot using SHIFT+INSERT or CTRL+V. Save the screenshot.

There's also another way of making screenshots, by using a program especially made to make the shots, like HyperSnap DX. I'm not gonna describe that way, read the help files or something :).
