GisKarD's History:

i will try to make this fairly short. i got turok around october of 1999 from a friend on a burned pirate cd.he had told me how he had been playin the single player the last couple of days and how there was a whole lot of guns and it was cool. so i borrowed it from him and played the single player (with cheats of course..thats how i used to play every single player fps). it was ok and all the different guns were great for the first couple of times. then i got bored and stashed it away. a couple of months later around the beginning of december i was bored outa my mind and looking through stuff on my computer. i stubled upon turok which i hadnt deleted. i noticed the Turok2MP.exe and decided to try it out. so i hosted a game name GisKarD's House or somethin like that. harbor 9 looked pretty cool and i ran around as a raptor for a while. then i found out raptors cant hold guns. so i changed to campaigner and explored the level a little more. after a while just as i was gettin bored again some1 came in to the game. i was pretty surprised cuz i didnt even know others could see my game. so i played a little with whoever it was that came in. obviously i lost but by the end of that game i was using Gant and Plasma. it was pretty fun and i hosted again probably the next day and the next. i did this a couple of times until some1 named Groar (i think this was the guy who came to be known as RoH Bigfoot but im not sure) told me the server lagged and said he would host 1. i didnt really know what he was talkin about so he explained to me about gamespy. so me and this Groar fella played together just about every day. one time we were in a game together, both of us gettin our asses kicked. so we decided to team up. the problem was that it wasnt a team game. i had no trouble recognizing him cuz he was the only Purr Lin but since i wasnt the only Iggy (i had figured out that iggy had over 100 life by then) he kept shooting at me. so i changed my color to yellow so he could recognize me easier. i've been playing yellow and on team rocket in team games ever since. a week or so passed with me gettin better and learning levels and guns. i think i was in the RoH Unforgiven Server when i met *FS* TANK. he tried to recruit some1 named Punk but Punk turned him down. at the time TANK seemed pretty good in my newbie eyes and i really wanted to join a clan so i was really exited when i asked TANK if i could join *FS* and he said yes. so i joined *FS*, and started to get good. during this time i met (VTO) Bitchmaker who also joined *FS* and some1 named Tihiy (now known as Rost). i also met, in arena of course, another newbie named Om3ga Red. i also played with (WsC) The Fox and MPG. from them i learned about strafing and crouching although i never used the latter. for a little while i strafed in 1 direction only but that changed when i kept gettin killed. one day i asked Om3ga Red if he would join *FS* (by that time i was good enuf to be allowed to recruit). looking back on it, his answer cracks me up. he said no man im not joinin any clan. hehehe. well about a week after that Om3 joined WsC and the rest im sure u know. so i kept playin as *FS* GisKarD and reached the status of advanced freefrag. this basically means that if every1 else in the game was a freefrag i would win. people like Mr. Niceguy (if any1 knows him) were a challenge. one time i was hosting a game and a guy named DoNtFuKwItHtHeDuK came in. we played a little and he beat me up nice an good but it was alright. he seemed pretty cool so when i saw him in the Unforgiven server later i went in there. TANK also came in as did some1 named RogueKi[LL]er. im not quite sure how it got started but b4 long Sinister, Rogue and TANK were at each others throats and even though i kept quiet rogue/sin decided to go after me too. basically it was a '*FS* sucks', 'no we dont' arguement and pretty dumb at that. and in the end, when sin left and the game was over tank said to rogue 'if we suck so much then how come GisKarD just kicked your ass?'....... by and by i figured out that maybe rogue and sin had been right, not in cussing me and tank out for no real reason, but in the fact that *FS* really really sucked. by now i crushed TANK and every other *FS* person i met in every game we played. i had been made a co leader but that didnt help much. TANK kept recruiting people who sucked so horribly it made me sick. i quit *FS* but when TANK saw me without the tag he begged and begged and i agreed to rejoin only if he would stop recruiting freefrags. he enthusiastically agreed. the next day a mey a guy named Disruptor. i dont think he even knew how to strafe. he used the pistol and stood in place for long periods of time...FFF. so i kicked him out of *FS* and then quit for myself, this time for good. so a bit of time passed with me runnin around clan-less. i met some1 named Jargon and we decided to start our own clan, <RmC> or Rabid Moose Clan. at the time i didnt use the name Rabid Moose so it wouldnt have been naming a clan after me. <RmC> was never very good with a maximum of 3 members and it sorta just died out. its been almost half a year since i have seen Jargon or TheMan (not the 1 in RoH). so i played without a tag for a week or so more. Firebird *P* begged me to join his clan but seeing that he was a bum i turned him down. by now it was the later part of january. i had heard from a few people that [LL] was the best clan and since i already considered myself good, i decided i would try to get into it and forget about the incident with rogue. so i asked rogue for a 1 on 1 in arena when i saw him next. that game was pretty embarassing. he beat me quite badly. so i figured he wouldnt let me join LL and tried to see what else i could get into. a day or 2 later i met Fei *U* and then Nookie *U* later that day. after a game of rok, Nookie asked me to join *U* and i accepted. althought every1 in *U* was nice to me, i could tell quite easily that proto thought i sucked. that changed a bit after i did better then Wombat and Fei in the 'unofficial' game vs *PK* after the clan fight was over. but u know about first impressions. during the week i was in *U* first Crazykiller (who i had beat a number of times that week) and CHRISR!K (who i played with and beat every day cuz he sucked real bad at the time..no offense chris) joined LL. so i was pretty pissed and asked why rogue had let them in and didnt take me. he just told me i hadnt given him enough time to think it over before i joined *U*. so i switched to LL and spent 2-3 whole weeks enjoying being in the best clan in turok (admit it, in early february it was). then 1 day i met Memory [DeF1]. i had seen the old DeF1 site and knew that it was a dead clan so i asked him who he was. he didnt tell me but later i saw on the LL ActiveList that it had been T-Virus (Nookie's 'brother'). over the next few days i played with memory a couple of times and befriended him so to speak. he asked me to join DeF1. now LL was still the best around but i felt kinda sorry for memory cuz he had no members. so Gen0cyDE came to be. at the time 4 people knew about it: me, memory, AEnImA (who i had told earlier that Gen0cyDE was a fake nick i used) and TANK (who had seen me use it). so i split playing time between the 2 names (giving more and more to Gen0cyDE), made a new icq account and everything was good. aenima had promissed not to tell rogue or any1 else about the 2 names and i managed to convince tank that Gen0cyDE was a friend of mine who i had allowed to use my name. so from february 14 until late march i played with 2 names in 2 clans. however, i was getting tired of it and almost stopped using GisKarD altogether. then there was a fight in which roguekiller and monique teamed up against me in a team rok game and even though i had more then either of them they won. i got in an arguement with rogue over that and a couple things were said that perhaps shouldnt have been said. so i quit LL (in the same week as VertigO and CrazyKiller). it took me about 10 minutes of playing to find a clan. crazykiller had started (iB) and asked me to join. i told him i didnt wanna join any clan (cuz i was thinking of losing this name) but that i would wear both the iB and DeF1 tags to promote 2 small clans. i did this for a little while, until iB died out. meanwhile, memory had his 'brother' nookie leave RoH and join DeF1 giving us a whopping 4 members (along with memory, Gen0cyDE and Suicide who is now RoH CrazyTrain). after i was made co-leader i recruited The Dude, Noodleboy and Tony. after a short while Nookie told me that there was no Memory and it was 1 person all along. i sorta knew it already from little mistakes he had made but that wasnt the point. he got rid of Memory and Gen0cyDE was now the only leader of DeF1. after this we got a number of new members including Ki-Ryu-En and Scrappy and we were doin pretty good with a total of 8 members. after suicide joined roh and kien left turok for the first time we were back to 6 members but then Chaos and Y.M Pimp joined making it 8 yet again and when my friend from real life, Dre Day, joined we had our record at 9. we got a few other fake nicks (RadimuS as AgathorN/ Defiant/ RaVaTaR/ Blackout, Vertig0 as Mercenary, Citizen -X- as Malbero Man..and i think thats it.) other people may have joined (i think Ma Bad was one) but i dont really remember. nookie decided to do his 'confession' bit and changed his name to Static_X. but even with all these people, me, nookie and dre day agreed that we werent the best. *U* was still around and growing rapidly. RoH was still shaky but fairly strong. LL was becoming nonexistant but still had a few members (we actually tried to have a clan fight when LL still had enough members for it. 5/6 people playing had cable but all except the host and 1 other person had 1000+ pings and it was pretty shitty. still, we won and i think we woulda won even without the lag...) so i talked to Ice Kill@ and he agreed to merge our clans with -=LmS=- taking on the DeF1 tag. all woulda been fine but UnRe@L came back from his vacation(?) and called it off. however, about 2 weeks later i talked with unreal and we decided to merge for real this time but the stubborn jackass didnt wanna use our tag. so we came up with -=KiC=-. by now i had stopped using Gen0cyDE completely and was telling just about everybody i played with about it. sinister was 1 of the first people....and he decided to post it on an ActiveList. boofuckinhoo ;). so with me (now with 1 name) and ElemenT (UnRe@L) at the lead (ice was more leader than ele ever was and maybe if ele hadnt been a stubborn jackass KiC would still be around) KiC had around 15 members and recruiting more every day. by the end of june we had more than 25 people and with KoD already inactive we were by far the best around. nobody had as many, nobody was as active, nobody was as good. then my isp decided to shut off. it was a free provider so i guess they didnt think it was necessary to inform people that they were gonna do an upgrade and that service would be cut off. that woulda given me time to get another isp over the net (register aol or freei or sumthin). but no. i was cut off and had no net access from the end of june to almost the end of july. when i finally got a hold of an aol cd and registered it, i found out that ele was completely inactive and since ice thought he couldnt make clan fights or anything he got some of the best people and him and matrix started UcK. others left for other clans (scrappy to roh, nookie to fon then vto, the dude to gz, a few others). some people (fear, rost, user) just disappeared... i thought about joining RoH. i had been asked to join by sin and crazy and probably wouldve if it hadnt been for stealth and felix encouraging me to re-start my own clan. kic didnt even cross my mind. DeF1 was my clan, even though i hadnt started it and the name was blatantly stolen. Stealth, BlackMamba (who changed his name to Relic) joined right away and Chaos joined from UcK the next day. NoodleBoy who had quit when KiC was started up re-joined too. soon Y.M Pimp and STIFF joined up as well as Felix who butchered me into accepting him (no offense). Nookie had just joined vto so he didnt wanna be rude and leave the clan a day later so he joined us only about 2 weeks later. stiff left for WsC (an understandable decision-he was the only dutch guy in DeF1 and time zones suck) and stealth joined -=P=- (cuz hes a clan hoppin shit). nookie took stealth's place as co-leader. felix also left for SoD(?) but i dont think anyone really missed him. since then, GuHuNa joined from FaD and a new guy (i forget his name at the time-its been a while) joined too.so that was the situation before i had to go offline again although relic had told me that he was going on vacation and pretty much disappeared. i dunno, maybe hes usin a fake nick, maybe relic was a fake nick to begin with, or maybe he really did take a really long vacation and is already back and i just dont know. the reason i now have no net access is cuz i moved to a house and my computer is now standing in 1 of the 2 kitchens with no way to get to a phone jack. the big new computer workstation thang just came in the mail yesterday and we're still putting together. by the time this is posted i will have a cable modem (at fuckin last). i left nookie in charge of the clan and hopefully he can keep it from falling apart without me. i think nookie is a better leader then ice or ele were but i dunno... if DeF1 is gone i will join RoH but will be much less active..with cable i'll be able to play q3 and ut and whatever else i download (everything that comes out). but it doesnt really matter what clan i'm in anymore. there is very little clan rivalry now. proto has been reduced to uh *TG*. most other fairly big clans (like *PK*) are inactive, at least in the times i play (which was all day during the summer). RoH is probly the best clan in rok and FoN or NFM in arena. under good conditions (ie no lag), im pretty sure me, nookie and chaos could beat sinister, scarab and primagen or whoever else RoH can have in a fight but that no longer matters. well thats about it. turned out to be quite a bit bigger then i had expected. if u're readin this u musta been really bored but oh well...i read all the articles on the site so i figured why not write my own little history.

P.S: Nookie seems to have disappeared so i joined (RoH) cuz they're the most active and best clan in turok and there is an (RoH) member in almost every game i play. As far as im concerned DeF1 is now dead. GuHuNa by himself isnt really a clan. I think that (especially with me in it) RoH can win a clan fight against just about anybody, almost definitely in rok and most likely even in arena...
